Beer Notes

This is the first time I have had a second beer from a brewery that was previously part of the challenge.  This beer was brewed to be a blend in flavors between two amazing stouts, Bomb! by Prairie and Even More Jesus from Evil Twin Brewing.  These are both strong, flavorful, syrupy stouts and this one is a great combination.  Chocolate and coffee are the predominant flavors, but there is a bit of spiciness from the chilies to give it just a little kick.  There is a bourbon barrel aged version of this beer as well, and I will give it a try later in this challenge.

Other Thoughts

The New York Times released an ad today which aired during the Oscars.  Trump wasn’t a fan of it and preemptively decided to trash it.

Note that this wasn’t the first time they took out an ad, although they hadn’t since 2010. I think it’s an important ad and worth watching.  The American people need independent press like the New York Times to try and keep this administration in check.
